I have done 2 IVF's and both were successful. I conceived twins my first round but lost them at 20 weeks due to incompetent cervix. My second round, I conceived my son and delivered him at 35 weeks. To my surprise I got pregnant on my own this month. The growth was questionable at all sonograms. We just thought my dates were off. But it is apparent that it is in fact a B/O. My Ob wants me to pass naturally due to my cerclage type. I am not liking that decision but have no choice. I still feel very pregnant. Any who, my OB told me this was a fluke. Possibly genetics. I don't believe it. After you gals had a B/O was there any treatment you did that turned to be successful. With all my IVFs I was on PIO and BA right after O. With this one, I didnt know until the day I missed my period that I was pregnant so I went on the oral progesterone and BA at this time. Maybe thats what did it?

I wish I could give you answers. I think we have all been there. Wondering why me? What did I do? What could I have done differently? I don't really think threre are answers. I wish there were. I didn't take anything but extra folic acid for the beginning of my pgs and I had succesful and three angel babies. I wish I knew why but I have come to terms with the fact I will never know.
I am so sorry for your losses. This group of ladies is wonderful and supportive they helped me through alot. (((HUGS)))

I am so sorry for your loss and for all your fertility struggles. I agree with Lisa that sometimes there just aren't any "right" answers that we hear. There are many causes for BOs and none of them are your fault. The embryo just wasn't able to grow into a healthy baby. It could be genetic, could be chemical. At the end of the day, though, it still hurts like hell to go through.
I know for me (and I preface this by saying that I am a total control freak!), I just needed to feel like I was doing SOMETHING instead of just waiting around. It sounds like you are similar. Some ladies on this board have said that red raspberry leaf tea, in large doses, will help your body pass the BO more quickly (it's a uterine toner). And then, once you are ready to start trying again, the tea will help get your uterus prepared and nourished for the next baby. After my loss in April (my second pr loss), I drank the tea daily. I also found "Female Toner" tea by Traditional Medicines brand (or something like that) at my supermarket. It has RRLT and some other good "uterine toning" herbs. I drank 2-3 cups a day. I also talked to a naturopath and she recommended Estrotone. It's an herbal pill that is a hormone balancer. It's marketed for pre and post-menopausal women but the naturopath said she took it herself after going off the pill and she recommends it to all women who are TTCing. I also took omega-3 and a B-complex everyday. Omega-3 is supposed to be good for sperm and egg quality (so encourage DH to take it too) and B-complex is good for your mood. I did these 4 things every day for 2 months when I was at my wits end after almost a year of TTCing with only that 1 pregnancy loss and I got pg again. I'm only 9 weeks now but things seem to be doing ok.
Good luck and know that we are always here for you. Take care, Marisa
