Hi All, Just wanted to leave a quick post to offer some hope to those of you who have had a blighted ovum (or 2) and are devastated and scared they will never get the baby they so long for. During a period of 4 years ttc I conceived twice, and both times the pg sadly ended in m/c, both due to B/O. After my 1st B/O all the doctors/nurses/websites said it was highly unusual to have a 2nd B/O as they are usually down to chance and are just bad luck, so when I had a 2nd 14 months after my 1st I was terrified that there was something wrong that would mean any future pregnancies would end the same way.
I am delighted to be able to post that I now have a wonderful 9 week old baby boy, who is the light of my life! I took baby asprin for this pregnancy. Whether it was this that made the difference or not I will never know, but I do know that if I am lucky enough to get pregnant again sometime in the future, I will be getting straight on the daily dose of asprin!
Very best of luck to you all. Don't give up hope, and do your best to stay positive. The dark times don't last forever.
Love, Kangadoocat xx

Congratulations! I just got teary eyed reading your story as I'm facing some of those same fears myself. Thank you for posting this and providing hope to people like myself. Out of curiousity, when did you start taking the baby aspirin and how long did you take it for?

Hi All, I am glad I am able to provide some hope for others at last!
Kelly, I took the baby asprin immediately after egg transfer (we had IVF for this pregnancy). I beleive it is possible that it can help with implantaion. On previous months I took it a couple of times from ovulation and stopped it when I got a -ve PG test.
Hope this helps, K
