Well, for those of you familiar with my story, i am the one who started the thread 14 weeks pregnant w/ Blighted ovum just a couple of weeks ago now. I am now 16 weeks along.... started spotting a week and a 1/2 ago, nothing passed... still a sac on my u/s. and now taking misoprostol to help things along. Well, took first pill yesterday.... some cramping, little bleeding. 2nd pill last night, slept fine through the night. Got up this morning passed very small clot, no bleeding other than that little clot. Took 3rd pill an hour ago w/ breakfast and nothing still. I am going to take a hot bath and i only have 1 left to take tonight. Does it normally take this long? has anyone else had this same experience? Am i going to pass it this way??? i hate thinking that i am waiting this long and in the end having to do a D&C anyways. My dr is the one who told me to wait the first week to see if it would pass naturally, and when it didn't she is the one who said to take the pills. it has been 2 weeks now since i found out and i am still waiting!!!! I really hope this works so i can move on from this.

I hope something happens soon so you can move on. Keep us updated.

geesh.... i just don't know what is going on any more!!!! i am about to take my last dose of misoprostol and hope for the best. my dr has another u/s scheduled for me on friday.... so i guess i shall wait and see if anything passed by then or not. the worst part so far has been the nausea from the anti-inflammatory she perscribed to me..... gives me pains in my belly more uncomfortable than the cramps themselves...... thus far anyhow. maybe tonight will be different wish me luck!!!! will update tomorrow Aimee

Aimee~
I'm so sorry that all of this is taking so long for you. I don't know anything about the medication that you are taking, but some women on here have taken it before. Hopefully they will see your post and respond soon.
Please take care of yourself and have someone with you.
Tight hugs and hand holding~
Leah

I did take miso for my m/c with the BO but my Dr. had me take 4 pills at one time and within 20 min everything started passing. I am sorry it is not working for you. Maybe the dosage isn't high enough. If you still have concerns my advice would be call your Dr. Keep us posted.
