I know this may sound silly with all the other posts but I don't know anyone else that has gone through all we have gone through. Anyway the question is I am a week and a half from my dc and the physical hurt has gone away but I am having some wierd side effects. My face has broken out like I am 15 years old! Every day is more zits and I know it is from hormones that are out of whack but it still bothers me. I know it seems vain but I have a hard enough time looking in the mirror without this. Any suggestions I don't want to go on anything to strong as we want to start trying again as soon as I get the go ahead from my DR.. My post op. appointment is tomarrow so everyone please cross your fingers!

Big HUGS!! All the physical reminders can be very upsetting, almost like a slap in the face, after a miscarriage. It's not vain at all!! After my 1st loss I could NOT lose the 11 lbs. I gained in the pregnancy...I felt huge and was very upset that I still looked pregnant Maybe you could use proactive or something? My best advice would be to hang in there, and try not to stress out about it...easier said than done I know I am very sorry for your loss, too. God bless and good luck w/your appointment!! HUGS Kris

Shanney, I am so sorry for your loss. I agree with Kris. Nothing about this is easy. At this point I would say to try to drink plenty of water and perhaps use something with benzoyl peroxide. I use proacitv, but sometimes find the benzoyle peroxide helps. It should go away soon, but you are right. It's those dumb hormones! Thinking of you!! (((HUGS)))

Shanney- I agree - I wouldn't want to use anything so strong. I think the other ladies have good ideas. I also find that when I break out, steam seems to help. I take a warm shower and stay in the bathroom for a while afterwards to let the steam help clear out my pores. Then, splash cold water to tighten those pores up. It definitely doesn't make them go away any faster but it is as "non-toxic" as it gets.
Good luck!

i agree with them all. One more suggestion is to buy some coverup makeup. My mom used to use this "eraser" we called it. It looks like lipstick but it is actually beige colors (different shades for variety of skin tones).
Another suggestion is go get a free makeover at the mall department stores. They will have better tips and you might feel so much better. Best wishes.

I felt exacltyy the same way as you did when I had first miscarriage...its already sad with that but then physcially i gained weight and couldn't loose and brokeout all over and was very depressed looking at myself in mirror...
i use a prescription called benzclin kit (its benxy peroxide and cleocin antibioitc together)...it works well for me..but to be honest i ddin't use at that time but am using it now since i'm not pregnant..
