Thank you all for your kinds words and knowledge. The procedure went fine, my DH is an anesthesiologist at the hospital where my D&C was done and was able to accompany me into the procedure room, I was so frightened, so that was comforting that he could be there until they put me out. But before I knew it, I was awake, not to much cramping, and just a little spotting. I did go to work the next day just so I wouldn't have to be alone, but only worked a half day today. I cry whenever I am alone, the tears just come, I'm not sure if it is all grief or hormone related as well. It does seem to be easing slightly. My abdomen below my belly button is quite bloated, it wasn't like this before and I have a lot of low back pain still, is this normal? Thanks for listening. Lauren

Lauren, I want to say that I am sorry for your loss. I had a natural m/c so I dont know anything about a dnc. Please feel free to vent if you need to. Sometimes it helps to talk to someone that has been through the same thing. Take care and let us know if you need anything

Lauren
I am glad that your dh was there to support you. Unfortunately I do not know about the bloating I m/c naturally. Not that in my opinio there is anything natural about it...
Take care

Lauren, sweetie, take it easy. tears are normal. The bloating was normal for me, w/my pregnancies, my uterus get very large, very quickly, so I had the bloating. It could also just be a side effect. They told me to drink alot of liquids, so I did. I'm not much help on the back pain as I am under a Drs care for that and neck as a result of a car accident. Many thoughts and hugs always. PLease take it easy..... Mamabear

Hi Lauren,
I'm glad to hear that the procedure went okay. I went right back to work too. I remember that it took me a bit of time for the bloating to go away. I also had some cramping. My ob said that this was due to my uterus contracting back to it's normal size. Just take it easy and don't push yourself too much.

Tayvt:
I am sorry to that you have to be here with us, but I'm glad you found others who have experienced this tragedy. There is nothing like having others to vent to, chat with, or ask questions of.
I hope you are feeling better. I am not helpful regarding the D&C because both of my BOs expelled on their own. Know I'll be praying for you!
