Good Morning Ladies:
I want to update you - my home pregnancy test was positive this morning.
After two BOs, I am CAUTIOUSLY optimistic this time. I'm trying not to get too excited. I estimate my due date as April 27, 2006. I really hope it works this time. I have an initial visit & u/s scheduled for 9/8 - so I'll know more then.
I know I'm fairly new to this board and have posted only 1 other thread, (although I think by now I've read them all!!!) but I thank you all for the advice you have given thusfar, and for listening.
I'll keep you updated!!!!
Katherine

Oh that is awesome news!! I say, go ahead and be excited! At least for me, I have decided that I can't live in fear after all of this. A BFP is a BFP and deserves to be celebrated!! Stacy

Thanks Ladies! Oh my emotions go from excited to worried - I guess it will be like that until the appt on 9/8. My family and friends have been great - I figured why not tell them - they'll all be wondering what's going on anyway and won't ask so......
Have a great day!

So glad that your ultrasound went well . Whats the prob with the progesterone?? Sorry if this is an insensitive/intrusive question, its just that here in UK they don't seem to do many of the tests etc that they do in US. LOL

The progesterone was low, but not by much. It should have been at 25, but it was at 24.9 - which seems like big deal. However, I have been on the vaginal progesterone for 2 weeks - 3x/day - 600 mg/day. So it shouldn't have been low. I got the first shot today. It wasn't too bad at all. They won't do another blood test on that - but will keep giving me the shots. They will do the shots until week 12 or 13. When I go in on 10/5 if they can't hear the heartbeat at that visit, the dr said they'll do another vaginal u/s - so we'll know if this low level is even important. And I certainly do not find your question to be insensitive/intrusive. If it weren't for people sharing on this website I would not have had as many questions to ask my dr - so....ask away.

Katherine
I wanted to let you know about one of my friend Kelly. Her progesterone level w/ progesterone was 9. And her dd Hannah is going to be 3 in less than a month.
So try to not worry too much. My dr said anything over 15 in the 1st 6 wks. Also know that progesterone is affected by time of day and what you have eaten.

Kallie:
Thanks for that information. That's definitely good to hear. I didn't know it's affected by time of day and what you've eaten. Very interesting. Thanks again!!!!
