Just wanted to update: My surgery (D&C) is over. Went in this morning and was home by this afternoon. Was smoothly sailing. No bad sore throat this time from the tube, and no major pains. Bleeding of course, but nothing major. Feeling very tired. DH was with me all the way. They had to shove him out of the room when it was time to take me into surgery. Aww....! Mom in Law took care of the kids all day. I forced her out the door and sent her home to sleep at 10p.m. tonight. Poor thing was exhausted. The boys were good for mom tonight and went right to bed. DH works the night shift, so I will try and get some good sleep tonight.
Dr. said surgery went great. She is almost 100% that it was a B/O. I will find out in 2 weeks when they get the tests back from what they removed. She said I can TTC again within 2 normal cycles. I'm a bit nervous about that at this point.
I want to thank you all so much for your support. Your prayers and good thoughts were with me going into surgery and coming out. It meant so much to know that you were thinking of me. Please keep in touch with me regarding your situations past and present. I want you to know I care very much about where you are and where you want to be.
Hugs XOXOXO

Erin, I just wanted to say that I'm very happy that everything went well with your D & C and I hope that you got the chance to get some rest last night. How sweet of DH to be so concerned that they had to "shove" him out of the room when it was time for surgery! I agree with the Aww! It's also very nice that your "mom in law" took care of the kids for you guys so that you could get this taken care of. At least this part of it is behind you and you can start to move forward from this point. I totally understand being nervous about starting to TTC again. I know that even though it's been a year for me....I just can't get past the idea that it's going to happen to me again. I think we just have to have faith that things will work out one way or another. Keep us posted on how you are. I know that this is a very difficult time for you and your family.
Take Care!

Hi Erin,
So glad all went well with the D & C. I think waiting fr a few months after a D & C really helped me get my head together. I hope you will take it easy and have time to heal.
Hugs, Lauren

Hi Erin, So glad to hear that your surgery went well. Have you gotten back the pathology? I am so happy to hear your doc is fairly certain you had a bo!! (To someone unfamiliar with the molar mess, that probably sounds like a ridiculously mean statement, huh?) How are you feeling now? As for me, I am fine. My levels are down to 5 which is great because most info I read on the internet says you can TTC after 6 months (instead of the year) if your levels hit zero by the 7th week post d & c. This next wednesday will be my 7th week so I am hopeful that the last of it is gone and I can concentrate on getting my body ready for February. This past Tuesday was my first AF since the nightmare began so I am am happy that I am returning to some normalcy. Keep me (and everyone else too) posted on how you are... ~Thurese
