Hello Ladies,
I have another question for you. My AF started on Tuesday of last week and I am still bleeding. Is this normal and when should I stop bleeding. Also with this AF going so long will I still "O" this month?
I had a natural m/c on April 19th and had really heavy bleeding with it, could that be why the bleeding is not as bad as they doctor said it should be?
Thanks again for everything Amy

Amy my af usually lasts between 3 - 5 days generally 3 w/ spotting for 2 days maximum and usually all the days are really light. The af after m/c was heavier and lasted about 4-6 days and then about 4 days of spotting.
I would think anything is normal after a m/c as long as you are not having a lot more bleeding where you are changing your pad every hours.
Keep us posted Take care Kallie

Mine was way off. I can't remember exactly how it worked (it's been 5 years) but it was something like 5 days (not following the D and C but AF the following month), then the next was freaky, off and on for a total of 14 days or so, the next one was 5 or 6 days again. Normal then for me was 2-3 days. The wackiness didn't affect my ovulation or getting pregnant -- at least by the time I'd had the third AF following my D and C which was when I was given the ok to try again. We got pg on the first try that month. I wouldn't take too light or too heavy as anything to worry about. It's my opinon that our bodies just behave kind of bizarrely and it reacts to whatever has gone on in whatever manner it needs to. I went back to having a very short AF after I had my son, and then after I had my daughter I now have a very long and much heavier AF (which I hate of course). Slowly over the last two years my AF has gotten shorter and less heavy but not back to "normal" for me.

Amy
That is right forgot about ovulation. Mine was still there too. I started 1st month using opk's and then the 2nd month I used opk's and temping. 3rd I was just temping and doing cm & cp. I think it was more accurate than the opk's for me. the opk's would be + for too many days and at $27 for 7 of them that could be a cycle and a part of one....

Hello Ladies,
I hope everyone had a good weekend. The weather here was great for it.
I am happy to say that AF visit is almost over. She should be leaving within the next couple of days. I think I will wait and see if our every other day luvin will make a baby this month if not then next month I will use the o test and mybe chart. I hope we will be pg by next month. I have never had a problem getting pg.
Take care, Amy

Amy,
Well, you sound like things are getting better! I'm so glad! I so hope you have success getting P/G and carry a healthy baby full-term! You've been through a lot, and I can't tell you how much your support has meant to me! I've decided I need a break from this baby making stuff. I'm going to switch doctors after my M/C follow-up appt on Thursday, and will then be getting on Birth Control. Like you, I haven't had ANY problems GETTING P/G, which scares me... I need more time! That's me though, I can only wish you the best of luck and hope that you'll be posting some VERY good news soon! Something I can reply to with a Great Big ((((((((((HUG))))))))))) and CONGRATULATIONS!
Steph

Hello Ladies,
Glad to see that the site is back working again. I have missed you ladies. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
The OB put me on estrogen to make AF go away. She has been here over 3 weeks now. I started the estrogen on Wed and she still is not all gone. I took a opk last night and I'm not ovulating yet but I do get 2 lines but the test one was to light. It should get darker soon I would think.
How has everyone else been? Steph are you feeling better? Amy

Amy
I am glad that your dr was helpful. Hopefully that will be a kickstart to get you back in shape for ttc.

Amy,
Just an FYI, with the OPK use, I started BD ing when the line was faint (it was only about 10-11 days into my cycle) and kept testing. It never really got "dark" but about 48 hrs. later it was darker so I BDed again. I got PG that month. ;0)

Hi Amy,
I would re-test but it does sound as if you are in "the zone!" Good luck to you!
