Hi All,
I posted my m/c story a few weeks back but here's a quick recap - was 6wks 3dys pregnant when I started to spot. Exactly one week (and a million u/s and blood tests later) I had a natural m/c at home. I was 8wks 3dys.
The m/c was complete and I had blood test and an u/s the next day, which showed negative Hcg levels and "clean" uterus.
Just over three weeks from the date I miscarried I started to cramp and bleed again. That was this past Tuesday. I assume this is AF, but have read some stuff saying it's not possible to start a new cycle so quickly after m/c? Is this true?
Also, the bleeding I'm experiencing is VERY heavy. Much heavier than any period I have ever had, and I do tend to have quite heavy flow for one or two days, then a day or two of very light spotting and that's it. This has been so heavy that I've actually felt a bit scared by it! Is this normal? Should I worry?
I have not called my doc or anything - I dread going back there right now and can't bare to be sent for any more tests. I'm trying to wait this out and hoping it will just be a heavier than normal, but still normal period and that my cycle will reset now.
I plan to TTC this month.
Anyone else experience AF so quickly after m/c, and with VERY heavy bleeding?
Thx.

I found that AF was very different after each loss. It got very irregular and for me it took weeks to come but other ladies on here have had it earlier like you. You will find that almost everything about AF will be different from before and for some it returns to normal and for others like me it stays different.
