That is great that you are in the clear! I am sending positive thoughts your way. I don't know what is going on with me. This is going into my 4th week of bleeding. It has been fairly light but daily since the big trip to the ER. I have seen people say 3-4 weeks can be normal, including a friend of ours who had an m/c and took 4 weeks to get through it. Our doctor told us to make a 6 wk appt which will be in the beginning of Sept. I have been feeling okay and don't have a fever. I just want this to finally be behind me. I guess we will see if we can start TTC again then. If I wait for a period it will be probably 3 months out.

V- So sorry that your body is taking a while to heal. I know how hard it is to wait to start TTCing. With my BO, my HCG levels didn't drop back to normal for 3 months until my doctor finally diagnosed me with gestational trophoblastic disease and sent me to a reproductive oncologist. Then my PCP recommended I get a massage or acupuncture just to destress and, after 2 sessions with the acupuncturist, AF showed up. But, by then I had already had 2 low doses of methotrexate (a chemotherapy drug) so was told to wait 6 months for it to clear my system. I waited 4 as I was given a low dose and I didn't expect to get pg the first time trying anyway. And now I have a beautiful 3.5 year old son. So, as long as you are feeling physically ok, I think your body is just clearing everything out so that it will be ready to TTC. In the meantime, pamper yourself as best you can. You deserve it!

v, I am sorry that your body is not cooperating with what you want. I know how frustrating it is. I bled for 5.5wks after BO whcih made me feel worse emtionally because I just wanted to try again. It was worth everything I went through the first time I held my beautiful boy. For now just take care of yourself so that when your body is ready you will be enotionally too.

V I too am so sorry your body is taking longer than hoped to cure itself. Hopefully you will get more answers at the doctors office. Maybe because your cycle is typically 3 months your body takes longer to flush out? Either way stay strong and as positive as cN be. Use as many loved ones and sources to keep your spirits up. That's what I am doing as well.
